Sometimes you have to go back to the beginning! John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.


We hear the saying all the time go back to your first love, repent and start over. In this day and age we need a constant washing with God’s Word. God had been dealing with me about His Word and how easy it is to get distracted by the cares of this world. Distractions will come to keep us from being One with HIM. But I have learned that 1-Father + 1- Son + 1- Holy Ghost = 1. In Him do we live, move and have our being. In order for us to be one with him is in His Word. And in that alone is everything we need as Matthew 4:4 emphasizes this principle of knowing God’s Word. If when we look in the mirror and we do not see Him and when we speak it is not like him. We need more of His Word in us. Be encouraged. “More of Him and Less of me”. Amen.

Once upon a time, an old man spread rumors that his neighbor was a thief. As a result, the young man was arrested and put behind bars for no fault of his own. Days later, the poor man was proven innocent. After being released, he sued the old man for wrongly accusing him.  In court, the old man told the judge, ‘ They were just random comments, they did not harm anyone.’ The judge, before passing sentence on the case, told the old man,  ‘write all the bad things you said about him on a piece of paper. Cut it up into little pieces and on the way home, throw the pieces of paper out of your car window.
