Stay in the Race- DON'T GIVE UP!
Ecclesiastes 9:11 "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
Though we are born with a sinful nature, we can choose between loving God and keeping His commandments or rebel against his spiritual laws. When we choose to violate God's laws we choose to reap where we have sown. As I read the Bible, I have concluded that no one will be denied entry into Heaven because of incomplete assignments or unfinished business for Ministry. In the book of Ecclesiastes, Solomon the wisest man to ever live let us see today the "Race" is about enduring no matter how hard it is. When you consider a natural race on a track you start very enthusiastic! Your total mindset is that I'm winning this race no opponent is going to stop you. As the race begins you have lots of energy and stamina, but you get to that curve you feel your heart racing with anxiety. The race is still going on and now your opponent is passing you up that is twenty years younger and you think I can't compete with him/her. The finish line is ahead or you, but now you have a muscle cramp that hurts your leg at the wrong time. You are now at third place with seven opponents, do you drop out or keep striving to cross the finish line and be place in the race? With seconds remaining you motivate yourself with the scripture in Philippians 4:13 (KJV) "I can do all thing through Christ which strengthen me." With that being said, Win the race! Raise your child with academic excellence! Focus on your health! Accomplish educational goals! Love and forgive no matter what you are racing to do. Don't give up!!! Stay in the "Race" and you will "WIN."
