I absolutely love this song. A beautiful classic to be remember and treasured. Carole Allen Simmons was a living legend and an awesome gospel music singer for the Lord, she was one of my all time favorite singers. Her ministry still lives and I know that you will be bless as she ministers "Worthy Vessel" under the anointing of the Holy Spirit and truly this is what we should strive to be in our walk with the Lord. A branch does not have to work very hard to grow grapes. But it does have to stay connected to the vine. Good grapes can only come from being connected to the vine. Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 11:18 the branch does not support the vine. Instead, the vine supports the branch.” We have been rooted into the vine by our faith. Our relationship with Christ through His word helps us to stay connected to the true vine. Jesus is the true vine (John 15:1). God wants us to grow in our walk with Him. As we grow in Christ we are able to master the things which we contend with in life. Whether it be overcoming any type of illness, anger, depression, grief or loneliness, our trust in God must be stronger and greater than our personal feelings.
