You Are Somebody!

Yes! You are somebody, in spite of how you feel or think and I know sometimes you can feel and think like you are not of worth. I came to express good news to you. You are a royal priesthood chosen by God for such a time as this. You can never lose your value; you are priceless in God's eyes. You are of great value; don’t base your self-worth on how others see you.  Everything God made is good; He assessed it to be good according to Genesis 1:31. Be very careful about sabotaging and speaking judgment on yourself that’s unconstructive and disapproving. Don't downsize or destroy your own self-worth. Are you your own worst enemy? You have to be careful declaring negative confessions such as I can’t do…., I’m not…., I’m never…., or I’m not good at. Your confession should be confessions of faith, I can, I will, and I am good at…..etc. Know you hold the key to your destiny of self-worth. Don’t judge your God-given gifts or talents by others; remember you are who God created you to be. Psalm 139:14 says we are fearfully and wonderfully made. He sees us as the apple of His eye, the psalmist expressed in Psalm 17:8 that God would keep him as the apple of his eye and hide him under the shadow of his wings. When you find your niche in life,  you won’t be so quick to focus on your shortcomings and weaknesses. Beloved, You Are Somebody! Please join with me in prayer.

Prayer: Father I thank you for creating me to be who I am in You, because everything You created was good. Help me to never compare myself to others nor fail to appreciate my own self-worth. Empower me with positive self-talk and help me to break habits of negative self-talk that affects my self-worth. I make a confession that I am made in the image of God and I am the apple of God’s eye, because of that I have God esteem in Jesus name.
