   13 Reasons to Read the Word of God


1) To know the Word of God and the God of the Word. John: 1:1
2)  To build, strengthen, and have a more intimate relationship with God!  John 14:15
3)   To have great peace. Psalm 119:165   

4)  To grow your faith and trust in God. Romans 10:17
5)  To know God’s voice.  John 10:4, 5                       
6)  To not fall into temptation or sin against God. Psalm 119:11
7)  For direction and guidance. Psalm 119:105
8)  To be prosperous and have great success.  Joshua 1:8 
9)   To become a person of wisdom, riches, and honor. Proverbs 3:13-18
10)  To obtain the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God.  Ephesians 1:17                        
11)    For training in righteousness,  so that you are complete, equipped for every good work
           that God has called you to.  2 Timothy 3:16-17
12) For the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2
13)  To always be able to give an answer for the hope that lives within you.
             1 Peter 3:15 

Let The Word of God will dwell within you richly. Colossians 3:16

Today's Reflection-Wounds of Gossip

Once upon a time, an old man spread rumors that his neighbor was a thief. As a result, the young man was arrested and put behind bars for no fault of his own. Days later, the poor man was proven innocent. After being released, he sued the old man for wrongly accusing him.  In court, the old man told the judge, ‘ They were just random comments, they did not harm anyone.’ The judge, before passing sentence on the case, told the old man,  ‘write all the bad things you said about him on a piece of paper.
