My Soul's Been Anchored

Hello beloveds and dear readers, thinking about you and
wanted to share a word of encouragement to you. I pray during these difficult and
troublesome times you are leaning on the Lord. The uplifting news is He won't
let you down. The Lord is your strong tower, the righteous runneth into it, and
is safe (Proverbs 18:10). In this season we are in is a place we have never
been before, it's called "Uncharted territory". Uncharted territory
is a new and unknown place, a place of uncertainty, a place where one would not
voluntarily go. In the 1960's television series classic "Lost in
Space", the Robinson family along with their robot left earth on a mission
and landed in the place of uncertainty. To say the least, the Robinson family
was shipwrecked due to the termination of their disastrous voyage that left
them hopelessly lost in space. You and I may not be on a remarkable voyage
navigating around the world; however a new scene of extreme circumstances and
challenges have navigated the normalcy of our lives. One way or another we all
have been impacted by the waves of Covid-19. I realize this can be disheartening
however hang tight, don't allow the crest of the waves of the Covid-19 make you
fall into the raging waters of discouragement and depression. Fear not for I am
with you, be not dismayed for I am your God; I will strengthen you; I will help
you Isaiah 41:10. Covid-19 will Pass Over.
If you look at the world you be distressed, if you look within you'll be depressed, if you look at God you'll be at rest. - Corrie Ten Boom
Let not your hope drift on the sea of despair during this period. Try to stay as optimistic as possible and not let the waves of your emotions caused you to fear. We know that fear is a human response to situations we cannot control, in any case if we stroll around in fear, we walk powerless to change our circumstances. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-control. We can and will rise above this pandemic. According to Hebrew 6:19 it states "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It’s a good reminder that we have a sure hope in the Lord. By definition an anchor on a boat is a very heavy iron weight sank into the water to hold the boat in place. The Word of God is our anchor that holds and keeps us. God will hold and keep us as we pass over and through this storm.
Love & Blessings!!!
