When you think about something flowing over its continuously or exceeding the capacity of something full, like putting water in a glass and there is no more room to fill. Water in the bible is considered as a blessing. Isaiah 44:3 promised blessings that will come from God, For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty and floods upon the dry ground. Drapetomania What is drapetomania, it is a term that was originated and hypothesized in 1851 by a man named Samuel Cartwright who was a medical doctor that practiced medicine in the South? He came up with this racial theory when an African slave would runaway, Cartwright considered that the slaves had a disease, a mental illness when one wanted to flee. Think about this because an African slave wanted to escape from being beaten, dehumanize, raped, and who wanted to escape captivity. The color of police violence, housing racial, job discrimination, disadvantage conditions and lack of governmental services have been hidden causes in the black community.
